Ducted zoning

Zoning divides a ducted system into independently controlled areas using motorised dampers, so you cool the rooms you're using instead of the whole house.

A day/night split (living areas vs bedrooms) is the classic setup and the biggest running-cost saver available on ducted, an unzoned system conditions empty rooms all day.
